The AK-32 controls up to 16 remote relays and monitors up to 16 remote contact inputs. The AK-32 boards must work in pairs, providing bi-directional control and contact monitoring. The remote unit may be linked directly by wire, or with an economical wireless link using the built-in radio interface ( audio-in, audio-out, push-to-talk) .
